Released in late 2019, this would be my last "sound" mod that I would make before I moved on to making better things. I got bored of the same sirens, most of which sounded like toy car sirens, and wanted to make something of my own that I could share with the community. So, in October, I released this WS2100 siren, and while it's still available today, think it's kind of just a piece of history at this point. You can download it here if you would like to use it for yourself!
Released in very early 2020, this was the very last code mod that I released, before moving on to making cars. The day I released this mod, is also around the first time I have ever heard something about COVID-19, and little did we all know, what was going to happen at that time.
While this mod is also still available today, it's also outdated, and has since been replaced by much better things, but if you are still interested in using it, you can download it here!
So here it is, we finally made it to the cars. Started in mid 2020, when we were all locked inside because of the aforementioned covid, this was my very first set of cars and would cement my legacy in the lcpdfr community. Armed with nothing but my 15 minutes of YouTube training on how to use zmodeler, I set off to make the very first Illinois cars for the LCPDFR.com community, but this wasn't my first time trying to make cars.
I originally tried to make cars back in 2017 - 2018 around the same time I was experimenting with other things, and during those times, I was unsuccessful at making one car, as I was super lost, didn't know what to do, or how to work zmod at all, and quite honestly, at little intimidated by it at first. So for now, I let zmod defeat me, it won for now
but not for long. And in 2020 when we had to stay inside, I tried again, and not wanting to be defeated, I trained, and I learned. So, for days, I would study guides, watch videos, look at cars in OpenIV to see how someone did a thing to their cars, and lots of research on cars, parts, how to get stuff, how to put stuff together, how to make seizure lights, etc and so on, and in early 2020, I started. I knew what my first pack was going to be, and put my heart to it, and by August of 2020, I had finally done it, I released my very first set of cars! My very own set of things, that I made the way I wanted, and then that night in August, I released it. And I have never felt so accomplished, never felt so proud of something that I made, and it genuinely made me happy to see, and it made me happy to see other people happy to use it. Was it the best car pack, no, but it was something that I knew was going to cement my place, and I knew what I was going to do. This pack can be downloaded by visiting here!
My second legacy pack, and my second every Illinois car pack. Released shortly after I made my first ever car pack, this was my second stop of my Illinois car pack train, Cook County. It was at this point I already had a new discord server setup and fully built by one of my friends at the time, who is also an Illinois native. It was at this time, that I was only going to make Illinois based cars, and with hundreds of cities in Illinois, that obviously wouldn't be a problem, but that of course didn't stick for too long. Shortly after the release of my Cook County cars, I would go on to make one more pack from Illinois, before I ended up diverting course, and going on down to Florida, which is a massive turn from the Midwest. This pack can also be downloaded by visiting here!
